Face Lift in a Jar

My 60-year old face has been well-maintained, but eventually all of us show some aging. For me, it's droopy eye lids, crepey neck, and some lines beginning to form from the nose downward.
Since the expense of a surgical face lift is beyond the reach of most of us, this is the next best thing.
Blue Copper 5 is the same treatment applied to burn victims to replenish and restore the skin's firmness and suppleness. If it's good enough for the surgeons and hospitals to use, it's good enough for us, too.
I have used this product now for the past 10 days. My husband, sons, and I see a visible difference. My face is beginning to look firmer, with less noticeable lines. If this is what happens in a short time, then after a month or more, I anticipate even better results. The manufacturer's scientific research (which I have read) indicates that these are the expected results for continued use.
So, if I can see a positive change, and my FAMILY SEES a change, then good things are really happening!

I paid full price for this stuff at a department store when I could've gotten it here for less. Well, when my current jar runs out, I'll be ordering through one of Amazon's merchants.
The only reason I didn't give this stuff 5 stars is because, for hygenic reasons, I hate buying beauty products that come in jars. They have the potential to become contaminated and I don't like the idea of applying germs to my face. I'm not nuts about the price tag either, but if a person wants quality, they're gonna have to shell out a few bucks. This isn't low quality garbage that can be bought at your local drug store.
Now, as for my skin: I've been using generic tretinoin (Retin-A) since I was a teenager. First it was to take care of my bothersome teenage acne, but as years went on and I read about the anti-aging benefits, I ended up staying with my Retin-A regimen. Not long ago, I was reading an article about the benefits of copper peptides and how it assists with skin healing. I ended up doing an online search for products with this ingredient, and I found Blue Copper 5 made by Osmotics. I then went to my local Nordstrom's and picked up a jar. I'm a 35 year old with fair skin and some signs of sun damage. I have a few creases here and there, but nothing to panic about. I normally break out once a month due to hormones, but unlike what I went through in my teen years, the acne is never anything major. Within days of adding BC5 to my beauty regimen, all I could say was WOW. My creases have been minimized and my skin is translucent. It's like I have airbrushed skin, but I don't use any foundation. Just a little powder to mattify my t-zone shine and I'm out the door. I love it. I've never had such luminous skin in my adult life. I let my 52 year old mom try some when she came to visit me and now she knows what she wants for her birthday later this month. Even she was amazed!
So, in my humble opinion, this stuff is pretty amazing. I will certainly continue to buy it. The only other thing I've ever used that gave me such noticable results so quickly was a product by Caudalie. I got a sample of it from a friend of mine. Unfortunately, I've long since forgotten what the exact product is, so I'll be sticking with my BC5. |

| This product is just amazing. My skin is normal/dry with the common Tzone. I use this day and night. It doesn't clog, it leaves your skin toned and dewy withoust leaving a heavy residue. It absorbs quickly and gives a slight 'lift'. I saw a difference upon first use. I can't use enough of it can't wait to use it. The fragrance is very mild and it's beautiful blue colour is unusual. My skin's starting its fourth decade very soon... It will help yours. |
EXCELLENT NIGHT CREAM

According to a recent article copper is important in tissue repair and wound healing. I was surprised, but then my medical knowledge is sorely limited. Upon looking further, I came across this product from Osmotics, a company devoted to anti-aging skincare products and hair care.
Several requirements are important to me in selecting a night cream. Obviously, I want it to moisturize and protect. Further, I want it to absorb so that I don't go to bed with a "greasy" face, and I don't want it to be scented.
Blue Copper 5 filled all of my qualifications. In addition, it goes on smoothly and it only takes a wee bit for face and neck. I've been well pleased with usage as in the morning my face still feels soft and not at all dehydrated.
Lately, I've begun also using it in the morning and find that since it absorbs quickly I can quickly apply makeup for the day.
Also noted that it's suggested for use after peels and lasers. To date, I've done neither but you never know!
Ingredients include the following:
Purified Water, Glyceryl Stearate, Caprylic/CapricTriglyceride, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Aqua, Carbomer, Polysorbate-20, Palmitoyl-Pentapeptide 3, Stearic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid (polysaccharide), Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Sunflower Oil, Copper PCA, Dimethicone, Carnosine, Allantoin, Vitamin B5 (panthenol), Sodium PCA, Tocopherol Acetate (vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A), Lavender Oil, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben |
